Blue Dew Cover [WIP?]by ~Raxore

This is a cover for a pony fanfic I am writing. The character depicted here is Dew Blossom, my main character.

The reason this might be a work in progress, is because I am unsure whether I want to add the other character, named Sacred Blue, on the other side. I'd have to work hard to squeeze him in, and it could become unbalanced if I do.

What do you guys think?

I think here is not enough room for another head. You could make the background bigger or the head smaller.

The first thing that i noticed right away was the nose. It is quite pointy.
Also, the lips are a little bit freaky. It's an interesting idea but i personally think it looks quite wierd if the lips of an equine lifeform have the thick,- and shinyness of an teenage girly.

I really, really like her mane, though. How did you draw that? :3

The lips were a bit of an after thought. As for the mane, it was mostly doing brushstroke after brushstroke until it was the right consistency, then you add the shines. Once those shines are added, it looks awesome :3
